Terms of Service
Effective Date: October 2026
Company: Fort Lauderdale Concrete Company (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”)
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States
These Terms of Service explain the conditions for using our website (the “Site”), submitting inquiries, and requesting information about our concrete services.
Please read these terms before using the Site. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Site.
1. Scope of These Terms
These terms apply to your use of our website and initial communications with Fort Lauderdale Concrete Company.
They do not replace a signed construction contract, accepted proposal, written warranty, or other project-specific agreement. If you hire us, the agreement for your project will establish the scope of work, price, payment schedule, responsibilities, and other applicable conditions.
If these website terms conflict with a project-specific agreement, the project-specific agreement controls for that project, subject to applicable law.
2. Website Information
Our Site provides general information about concrete services, including:
Concrete driveway installation and replacement.
Concrete patios.
Concrete walkways and steps.
Concrete pool decks.
Stamped and decorative concrete.
Stained and colored concrete.
Exposed aggregate finishes.
Concrete repair.
Concrete replacement.
Concrete resurfacing.
Concrete sealing.
Service descriptions are provided for general guidance. Availability, suitability, and the work required depend on the property, project conditions, and the scope we agree to perform.
Website information is not a substitute for an on-site assessment, engineering evaluation, or advice from another qualified professional when needed.
3. Estimates and Project Inquiries
You may contact us by phone, email, or website form to ask questions or request an estimate.
Submitting an inquiry does not:
Create a construction contract.
Guarantee acceptance of your project.
Reserve a construction date.
Establish a final price.
Authorize us to begin work.
Any preliminary pricing or recommendations based on photographs, measurements, or descriptions may change after a property assessment and confirmation of the scope.
Written estimates are subject to the conditions and validity period stated in the estimate.
4. Information You Provide
When contacting us, you agree to provide accurate information to the best of your knowledge.
Relevant information may include:
Your name and contact details.
The project address.
Your relationship to the property.
The type of concrete work requested.
Known damage, drainage concerns, or access restrictions.
Existing coatings, repairs, or other treatments.
Photographs and measurements.
Scheduling preferences.
Please do not submit sensitive information, such as Social Security numbers, account passwords, or payment card details, through general inquiry forms.
If you are requesting work on someone else’s property, you must obtain the necessary authorization before approving the work.
5. Project Agreements and Changes
Before construction begins, the project agreement should identify the work to be performed and the applicable terms.
Project-specific matters may include:
Demolition and disposal.
Site preparation.
Concrete placement and finishing.
Decorative treatments.
Repairs and surface preparation.
Sealing or coating systems.
Cleanup.
Exclusions and work performed by other contractors.
Changes to the agreed work should be documented and approved before the additional or revised work proceeds, except where another process is permitted by the agreement and applicable law.
Changes may affect pricing, materials, and scheduling.
6. Scheduling and Site Conditions
Proposed dates are subject to confirmation. Weather, site access, approvals, material availability, inspections, and unexpected conditions may affect scheduling.
If delays occur, scheduling updates will be communicated through the contact information you provide.
Site conditions discovered during work may require further assessment or a revised scope. Examples include concealed deterioration, unsuitable ground, buried materials, or previously unidentified utilities.
Any resulting changes will be handled under the project agreement and applicable law.
7. Permits, Approvals, and Property Access
Permit and approval requirements vary by project and location.
Responsibility for obtaining permits, arranging inspections, securing HOA approval, and providing required documents will be established in the project agreement. Do not assume these items are included unless stated.
Property owners or authorized representatives should disclose known easements, restrictions, private utility lines, irrigation systems, and access limitations relevant to the work.
Required utility-location procedures and safety obligations must still be followed. These terms do not transfer legally required contractor responsibilities to the customer.
8. Concrete Appearance and Performance
Concrete and decorative finishes can vary in color, texture, and appearance. Samples, photographs, and digital renderings are reference materials rather than guarantees of an exact match.
Relevant considerations include:
New concrete may look different from older concrete.
Repairs may remain visible.
Stains may produce different results across a surface.
Decorative patterns and aggregate exposure may vary.
Sealers may change color depth or sheen.
Concrete can develop cracks despite appropriate construction practices.
Outdoor surfaces can become slippery or hot under certain conditions.
These characteristics do not automatically establish either defective or acceptable work. Any concern will be considered under the project specifications, applicable warranty, and law.
No statement in this section excuses negligent work or limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
9. Payments, Cancellations, and Refunds
Project prices, deposits, progress payments, final payments, and any applicable fees will be stated in the project agreement.
Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms will also be addressed in that agreement, subject to applicable law.
These website terms do not establish a nonrefundable deposit policy or remove any cancellation or refund rights available to you.
Do not send payment based solely on a general website description. Confirm the project, amount, and payment instructions through our official contact information.
10. Warranties and Post-Project Care
Any express warranty offered for your project will be described in writing. General website statements do not create a separate promise about lifespan, maintenance intervals, or product performance.
After work is completed, follow the care and reopening instructions provided for your project. Different materials may have different restrictions for:
Foot traffic.
Vehicle traffic.
Furniture and equipment.
Water exposure.
Cleaning.
Resealing or recoating.
If you notice a concern, contact us promptly and provide the project address, a description, and photographs where practical.
Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Phone, Email, and Text Communications
When you contact us or submit an inquiry, we may use the contact details you provide to respond about your request, estimate, appointment, or project.
Submitting an inquiry does not, by itself, authorize unrelated promotional text messages. Where separate consent is required for marketing communications, we will request it separately.
Message and data rates may apply to text messages. To stop text messages, reply STOP where supported or contact us directly. You may also request changes to your communication preferences by email or phone.
12. Photos and Submitted Materials
Only submit photographs, documents, or other materials that you own or have permission to share.
You authorize us to use submitted materials as reasonably necessary to review your inquiry, prepare an estimate, communicate with you, and perform agreed services.
Submitting project photos does not give us unrestricted permission to use them in advertising. Any marketing use should be addressed through separate permission where appropriate.
Please avoid including people, private documents, or unrelated personal information in project photographs.
13. Acceptable Website Use
You agree not to use the Site to:
Submit fraudulent or misleading inquiries.
Send spam, threats, harassment, or unlawful content.
Upload malicious software or harmful files.
Attempt to access restricted systems or information.
Interfere with the Site’s operation or security.
Impersonate another person or business.
Infringe another party’s intellectual property or privacy rights.
We may restrict abusive or harmful activity where reasonably necessary to protect the Site, our business, or others.
14. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise identified, website text, branding, designs, and original materials are owned by Fort Lauderdale Concrete Company or used with permission.
You may view the Site for personal, noncommercial purposes. You may not reproduce, sell, or republish protected materials without authorization, except as permitted by law.
Third-party names, trademarks, and materials remain the property of their respective owners.
15. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may link to third-party websites or use third-party tools, such as maps, forms, or communication services.
We do not control external websites or their terms and privacy practices. A link does not necessarily mean we endorse the third party or guarantee its content.
Review third-party policies before providing information or using their services.
16. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information obtained through the Site and related communications.
Please review it alongside these terms.
17. Website Availability and Limitations
We aim to keep website information accurate and current, but errors, interruptions, and outdated information may occur.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Site is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted access or suitability for a particular purpose.
Website descriptions and general guidance should not be relied on as the sole basis for construction, engineering, or safety decisions.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any responsibility that applicable law does not permit us to exclude or limit.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Site, our practices, or applicable requirements.
When changes are made, we will update the effective date. Additional notice or consent will be provided where required.
Updates to these website terms do not automatically change an existing signed project agreement.
19. Severability
If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
